A beautiful show that I didn’t quite like (or even understand, for that matter) in the beginning, the Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2012 show drew me in by the end and had me drooling over some of the pieces on the runway.
Burton was said to have been inspired by the “rippling underbellies of mushrooms” (1) for the fantastical pieces in the collection.
